Former US vice-president Al Gore will be the key speaker at an IT conference scheduled to be held in Muscat in October, reported the Gulf News on Tuesday.
Gore will speak on "How to Build the GCC as an IT Society and the New Direction for a Global Economy and Business" at the Datamatix GCC IT Conference on October 13.
He will also touch on the subject of his "visions into the future of technology, globalization and the world economy," an official said.
"On October 13, [Gore] will present his views on topics of considerable interest and significance for the region," said Ali Al Kamali, managing director of Datamatix – Albawaba.com
