Assistant Secretary General of the Baath Arab Socialist Party, Abdullah al Ahmar, received on Sunday the chairman of the German Oriental Research Institute, Professor Stein Back.
During the meeting, talks focused on matters pertaining to the inter-action between the Arab and European civilizations, the campaign of Modernization and development launched by Syria and other issues of joint interest, SANA reported.
Prof. Back arrived Saturday in Damascus on a visit to Syria, upon the invitation of the party’s National Leadership. (Albawaba.com)
