GCC Secretary-General Abdul-Rahman bin Hamad al-Atya said Tuesday that a joint team from Yemen and the GCC states would be held soon.
In an interview with <i>Saba</i> in Riyadh, al-Atya said that preparations were under way for holding a conference of Yemeni and Arab Gulf businessmen in Sana'a.
Al-Atya said there were many steps to activate and boost relations of cooperation between Yemen and the GCC.
He said he would visit Yemen next January at an invitation extended by Foreign Minister Abu-Bakr al-Qerbi.
