The Supreme Council of the leaders of the GCC states concluded Tuesday afternoon the 25th summit under the chairmanship of Bahrain's King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain.
The GCC Supreme Council's reviewed a report regarding enforcement of the so called '' the smart ID Card " of the GCC states and directed authorities concerned to complete the project and setting up proper techniques to be applied in the GCC countries.
The Council approved a number of unified agriculture and industry related laws to ensure integration among the political bodies of the GCC. Among these laws is the industry organizing unified law of the GCC states aiming at encouraging and developing the industrial projects and increasing contributions of the industrial sector to the gross production as well as enlarging the economic cooperation base in then GCC states.
Regarding the GCC 's economic cooperation with countries and international blocs, the GCC Supreme Council reviewed a report on developments that have taken place in this respect during the year 2004. The Council was also briefed of the agreements signed on free trade zones and economic cooperation between the GCC states and these international economic groups.
