The first regular meeting of the representatives of the planning ministries and bodies of the Arab Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states will be held in Manama on Monday.
The Assistant GCC Secretary General for Economic Affairs, Ajlan Al Kawari was quoted by the official Saudi news agency (SPA) as saying the GCC undersecretaries for planning and development affairs would participate in the meeting.
He noted that the meeting would focus on the demographic situation in the Gulf region and policies in the light of reports to be presented by member countries and the council's secretary general – Albawaba.com
