The Executive Commission for the Council of the GCC Health Ministers began in Riyadh Sunday its 61st session.
The participants of the meeting will discuss a number of topics including relations between the Executive Bureau of the GCC Health Ministers and the GCC Secretariat General as well as means for combating diseases of heart and blood vessels, diabetes and cancer.
They will also exchange views on means for combating smoking in addition to issues pertaining to blood transfusion, organs transplantation as well as nursing services and continuous medical education and training, <i>SPA</i> said.
In addition, they will review arrangements pertaining to the conference of the GCC Health Ministers due to be held in Muscat between February 14-15, 2005.
