One Palestinian fighter was killed early Friday during an attempted attack on the Gaza Strip settlement of Kfar Darom.
Three Palestinian fighters infiltrated an abandoned building near Kfar Darom, and fired six missiles and light arms fire at occupation troops securing the settlement, Israeli reports said. Following an exchange of gunfire, one of the Palestinians was killed.
Palestinian gunners also fired at least 10 mortar shells at settlements and occupation posts throughout the Gaza Strip, Israel Radio reported.
