At least 10 Palestinian civilians were wounded, three critically, early Wednesday when Israeli helicopters attacked the Western Refugee Camp of Khan Younis City, witnesses and Palestinian hospital officials said.

Witnesses told WAFA that Israeli helicopters fired a number of missiles towards several targets in the area.

Meanwhile, about 10 tanks and armored personnel carriers stormed al-Barabkha neighbourhood, west of Khan Younis, witnesses added.

"A helicopter launched a missile that exploded near a group of civilians, wounding at least ten", eyewitness told WAFA

Palestinian medics at the city confirmed that 10 civilians were wounded, three critically, after being shot with a missile shrapnel.

In another attack, Israeli troops destroyed a number of houses located in the city. Israeli military officials confirmed that an operation "against the terrorist infrastructure" was in progress.

Meanwhile, Israeli military bulldozers razed vast areas of arable land in the city, local sources said.

They added that Israeli troops, backed by military vehicles and bulldozers, broke into al-Sad area amid intensive shooting and conducted a land-raze campaign. (albawaba.com)
