Fatah and Hamas gunmen clashed across the Gaza Strip on Saturday in defiance of a truce deal.
On Friday, Palestinian officials said the agreement was approved by both Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas of Fatah and Hamas‘ political leader, Khaled Mashaal. But as of Saturday the cease-fire showed no signs of taking hold.
According to the AP, Fatah gunmen stormed the Agriculture Ministry, ransacking offices and stealing computers, servers and official documents, said Agriculture Minister Mohammed al-Agha. Gunmen also took position on the ministry‘s rooftop and started firing, al-Agha conveyed.
