ALBAWABA - In a rapidly unfolding situation, UNICEF reports that the death toll among children in Gaza is increasing by the hour, with hundreds killed and injured. The international community is calling for an immediate halt to the violence in the region.

In the West Bank, the Palestinian Health Ministry reveals a rising death toll, with 12 martyrs and 245 injured due to gunfire by the Israeli occupation forces during recent clashes. On the other hand the Israeli army publicly acknowledges the deaths of seven soldiers and officers, raising the total number of casualties on their side to 258.

Amid these developments, the Al-Qassam Brigades announce a missile strike targeting the 'Hatzerim' airbase, a response to the displacement of civilians and the ongoing aggression.

Further adding to the complexities, Israeli forces are engaged in the suppression of Palestinian protesters at the Beit El checkpoint in the West Bank.

The International Red Cross is actively engaged in providing aid to those affected by the ongoing shelling in Gaza, underlining the urgent humanitarian crisis.

Simultaneously, Israeli artillery shells are striking multiple towns in southern Lebanon's Middle and West sectors, escalating tensions in the broader region. Reports from the ground confirm that Israeli shelling extends to the eastern sector of southern Lebanon, further intensifying concerns.

Alarming developments continue, as the Israeli army detects gunfire originating from Lebanon and promptly responds with artillery fire.

The situation in Gaza remains dire, with the Gaza Health Ministry confirming over 40 martyrs and 150 injuries as a result of the Israeli occupation's targeting of displaced populations in the area.
