T. Gargour & Fils the sole agents of Mercedes Benz vehicles in Jordan opened their doors to Jordan's media in a site visit showcasing the latest sales, servicing and repair facilities.
The spine of Gargour's infrastructure was recently strengthened with a USD $750,000 investment in the Kerridge Autoline information system to ensure 24 hours a day real time accounting and management information linking every branch, spare part delivered and every vehicle sold.
Client and staff training at Gargour has also taken a significant leap forward with the creation of a state-of-the-art training center connected directly to DaimlerChrysler's Global Training Centre through the AKUBIS system. Gargour customers and employees can now attend live transmitted training courses conducted by DaimlerChrysler and local Jordaian trainers who meet international technical standards.
Mr. Nadim Gargour spoke to the assembled journalists at the TGF Abu Alanda Head Quarters saying "In recent years we have been continuously updating our systems to create the most technically advanced facilities in the Middle East," before adding "With this year's launch of Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge, expansion of our current commercial vehicles service center, new workshops in Aqaba and the inauguration of the Baghdad workshop next month it will be a busy year for TGF".
Gargour is also creating a new home for Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge with a state of the art showroom at Wadi Saqra. Alongside this and two new Skoda show rooms in Marka and Amman and two Skoda service centre in Wadi Seer and Marka, Gargour is building a brand new 15 car bay workshop in Sahab for Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge. From October 2006 these facilities will be supported by a new 2,000 square meter storage and pre-delivery inspection center.
Five spare parts branches across Jordan and a huge network covering Lebanon, Palestine and Iraq offer genuine manufacturers parts as well as representing the French company Elf Oils. All outlets are supplied from our major custom paid warehouse in Sahab or from the Zerka Free Zone buffer storage area. The 20,000 sq. meter Zerka Free Zones center was established in 1998 to serve Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq and Palestine.
