Syrian foreign ministry sources have confirmed that French President Jacques Chirac is to visit Syria next October in response to an invitation extended by his Syrian counterpart Bashar Al-Assad, the official Saudi Press Agency SPA reported on Monday.
The French leader is expected to discuss with Al-Assad bilateral relations and matters of joint interest. (Albawaba.com)
