French Pilot Killed in Glider Crash in Egypt

The security chief of Egypt’s Red Sea District, Hamdi Ghali, has been notified of the death of a French pilot whose glider crashed into the sea. 

Investigations carried out at Hardagha police station revealed that the 32-year-old French civilian pilot, who worked for a private airline at Goneh Airport, was flying his glider when he suddenly plunged toward into the sea near the marina of Goneh village.  

The crash left the pilot with severe injuries, and he died despite his friends’ efforts to rush him to the local hospital for treatment.
