Cyprus and Greece are working closely for Cyprus' accession to the European Union (EU), Greek Foreign Minister George Papandreou said following a meeting with Cypriot House of Representatives President Demetris Christofias in Athens, according to Cyprus News Agency on Wednesday.
The House President also met with his Greek counterpart, Apostolos Kaklamanis, who said "European governments will not yield to Turkey, even if it is making crude and cynical threats against the EU." (Albawaba.com)
