The National Telecommunications Regulation Agency of Morocco (ANRT) has called for “expressions of interest” in fixed telephony licenses, and will ask potential bidders to complete a questionnaire on possible approaches to fixed telephony development in Morocco, Upline Securities reported.

The questionnaire responses will be taken into account when the final tender document is drawn up, the news service said.

In parallel to the "expression of interest" phase, the ANRT has also called tenders for the constancy contract relating to the license allocation process - a process which will end Maroc Télécom's monopoly on fixed line services – Albawba.com
