According to ONA, the main High Committee of the 7th five-year development plan (2006-2010) held its 3rd meeting at the council of ministers today under the chairmanship of Sayyid Fahd bin Mahmoud Al-Said, Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers.
The committee discussed the appropriate mechanism to translate the directives of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said to further enhance social fields, develop human resources and find more job opportunities for Omanis.
The committee discussed the private sector’s role in enhancing the economic and social development progress and the financial framework of the 7th five-year plan.
It praised the efforts extended by the National Economy Ministry and the Finance Ministry and their contribution to the preparation of the five year plans.
The committee took appropriate decisions with regard to topics discussed during the meeting.
