Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) on Tuesday confirmed the environmental and human safety following two minor fires that broke out in al Ahmadi and Abdullah Port refineries last night. According to KUNA, the fire was caused by a sudden short circuit in electrical supply feeding the three refineries on Monday.
