Fire exchange in northern Gaza Strip

According to BNA, Palestinian security forces exchanged fire with fighters of the Hamas movement in the northern Gaza Strip overnight, leaving seven people injured, hospital officials reported Today morning.
A National Security officer was in serious condition, Shiffa hospital said. The forces arrived at the Jabaliya refugee camp, north of Gaza City, after midnight in an attempt to stop the figters from firing rockets at the Israeli town of Sderot, just northeast of the Strip. At one point in the fighting, Hamas fighters forced a car with four or five officers inside at gunpoint to follow them up a hill, where they ordered the policemen out the vehicle and set it on fire, witnesses said.
