Fingers of two convicted thieves amputated in Iran

Two men convicted of repeated robbery have had the fingers of their right hands amputated in the southern part of Iran, in a strict Islamic punishment rarely applied there, according to a newspaper report Wednesday. 

 

The two men, convicted of around 20 robberies and of destroying goods, had their fingers amputated in the jail of the town of Kerman. (Albawaba.com)
