A Saudi man suspected by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) of involvement in the September 11 terror attacks was freed on Tuesday after six months in Saudi detention, according to his father.
Abdul Aziz al-Rasheed, who works for the Saudi Red Crescent, told AFP that his son, 21, Saud was "freed on Tuesday after Saudi authorities established he has no links with al-Qaeda and was not involved in the September 11 attacks."
"He is in good health ... and plans to prosecute the US government over the charges leveled against him by the FBI. These accusations harmed the whole family," he said. (Albawaba.com)
