A father of two sons has been arrested in UAE for torturing and killing his two-year-old son, Gulf News reported Tuesday.
The boy's body was found under a vehicle near the family home with the hands and legs tied and injuries to the face, head and other parts of the body, the paper said, adding that the police has arrested the father within hours of the body being found.
The 30-year-old father was quoted by the paper as saying that while he was asleep, he dreamt that "a snake was coiled around his son's neck." He woke up believing it was true and tried to save the boy by releasing him from the snake. But his son suffered injuries to the head and neck and he realized that the boy had died.
According to the autopsy report, the boy's hands and legs were tied with a piece of cloth, and his face suffered severe injuries and he had wounds on his face, legs and other parts of the body, said the daily -- Albawaba.com
