The Fatah Revolutionary Council is to hold Sunday in Gaza two-day meetings with the participation of Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas.

The meetings will discuss Fatah Movement preparations for the upcoming municipality and legislative elections in the Palestinian lands.

The council members are expected to also discuss Fatah's work mechanisms and the political condition in the region, especially negotiations with Israel.

These meetings come in wake of a series of protests by Fatah activists in the West Bank and Gaza Strip demanding the reformation of the movement to confront the challenges being faced, especially that Hamas declared its participation in the July legislative elections.
