PLO ooficial, Farouq Qaddomi with an accompanying delegation arrived in Baghdad on Monday night, the Iraqi news agency reported Wednesday.
Qaddomi told the official news agency that “the visit aims to acquaint the Iraqi officials with the situations that the Palestinian people inside the Occupied Territories go through.”
He emphasized that the resistance of the Palestinians against the Israeli occupation is increasing, in spite of their suffering. Meanwhile, Qaddomi denounced the US threats against Iraq, saying “those threats are against the Arab nation as (a) whole.”
He restated his rejection of such US threats against the Arab people, asserting the need of the Arab nation’s support for Iraq against threats uttered by the United States administration, which is “practicing terrorism against free peoples”, INA added.
The Palestinian official was received at the Saddam international airport by Iraqi Foreign Minister, Dr. Naji Sabri, a number of officials and Palestine’s ambassador in Baghdad. (Albawaba.com)
