False Bomb Threat Reported in Cairo Int’l Airport

A state of emergency was declared Sunday in Cairo International Airport after authorities received a call from an anonymous source, saying there were explosives in control tower. 

But it was a false threat, said Al Ahram newspaper, adding that the state of emergency lasted for two hours. 

Police dogs were used in the search for the explosives – Albawaba.com
