ALBAWABA - Iranian media said that airstrikes allegedly carried out by Israeli and American forces struck a number of areas in Iran on Saturday, targeting government-affiliated and industrial facilities.

One strike struck a location connected to Iran's Ministry of Agriculture in the western city of Mehran, according to reports from Tehran Times. The Mahshahr Special Petrochemical Zone in Khuzestan province, an important industrial region in the southwest of the nation, was the target of another attack.

Damage and Explosions Reported

Mehr News Agency stated that numerous businesses in the petrochemical zone were impacted, while the semi-official Fars News Agency claimed that several explosions were heard in the targeted regions.

Attack Close to a Nuclear Site

Iran's Atomic Energy Organization also stated that a security guard was killed and surrounding equipment was damaged in a region near the Bushehr nuclear complex.

Continuous Escalation

Since the crisis began, there have been four recorded attacks close to the Bushehr complex, which highlights the ongoing escalation and expanding extent of military activities throughout Iran.
