The Embassy of Tunisia in Washington is organizing an exhibition of Tunisian artists living in the United States. The exhibition, which is entitled "Scenes of the Country under a Nostalgic Glance", portrays the work of three Tunisian female painters: Sonia Neffati, who lives in Miami, Najoua Ben Othman, who lives and teaches painting in Virginia, and Ahlem Riabi, who lives in Washington DC.
La Presse reports that the exhibition was inaugurated on June 23 with an opening ceremony that hosted a long list of leading figures in the field of arts, as well as diplomats and representatives of the Arab-American Chamber of Commerce. The exhibition is scheduled to continue until July 7.
