Epson has launched the Stylus Photo R245 Series in the Middle East, providing novice digital camera users with a home photo printer that comes with a colour preview display. This easy-to-use feature allows high quality photographs to be created more quickly and cost-effectively than at the photo-lab.
The Epson Stylus Photo R245 Series features an intuitive interface and colour LCD preview screen, enabling the user to navigate the printer’s features easily. The screen and interface work together to allow the user to select, view and then print photos with ease. Photos can be printed directly from a memory card, via PictBridge or with a USB enabled digital camera, doing away with the need for a PC.
The Epson Stylus R245 Series comes with Epson’s Micro Piezo technology, which delivers an optimised resolution of 5760x1440 dpi on suitable media to yield photo-lab quality prints. With Variable Size Droplet Technology, it is able to create droplets as small as 2pl for clear, defined images and can produce 24 borderless 10 x 15 cm photos in only 20 minutes.
Epson’s PhotoEnhance technology automatically detects the type of scene and adjusts the colour accordingly, a key feature that allows inexperienced photographers to create professional-looking glossy photos every time.
The Epson Stylus Photo R245 Series comes bundled with the Epson Creativity Suite, allowing the user to manage and edit photos, attach images to e-mail, send to web, print web pages and easily adjust image sizes and resolutions.
Khalil El-Dalu, General Manager, Epson Middle East, said, "Epson is proud to introduce the Stylus Photo R245 in the Middle East. Combining ease-of-use with exceptional quality output, this is the perfect solution for the region’s home printer users who don’t want to be overwhelmed with technology. The preview screen and Epson’s PhotoEnhance technology ensures that professional looking photos are created every time.”
