The EMP-X3, a new entry-level projector from Epson, has been launched in markets across the Middle East, catering to all multimedia needs for both business and personal use and comes at an affordable price.
Offering a combination of winning features, it is suitable for both business and personal use. The EMP-X3 uses XGA 3LCD technology with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels to yield clear, sharp presentations and images. Everything from data-filled excel sheets to the latest films can be viewed clearly with a brightness level of 2000 ANSI lumens.
Using the EMP-X3 is easy. The Quick Start function means the projector needs only four seconds to start displaying information, making it one of the quickest on the market. Epson’s Easy Off feature is particularly important for busy presenters, who when finished, can turn it off and pack it away without the need to wait for it to cool down. The EMP-X3 offers a vertical keystone of 30 degrees, ensuring that any picture distortion is quickly corrected via the remote control, or from the controls on the top of the projector.
Versatile and stylish, the EMP-X3 is easily mountable and can be used as a fixed projector that can project 60 inches from just 1.8 metres away, so that the user does not need a large room in order to enjoy a large screen. Its compact design makes the EMP-X3 light and easy to carry. It comes with a carry bag making it even easier to move between classrooms, meeting rooms or between the office and the home.
The EMP-X3’s array of multimedia solutions allows the user to project lively presentations, training sessions and lessons. Using optional cables, it can be connected to a wide range of sources including DVD readers, digital cameras, game consoles, PCs and TV tuners.
The versatility of the EMP-X3 means it can be used in the office and in the home to enjoy a home cinema experience. Seven different colour modes automatically adjust the brightness and contrast levels ensuring that the most suitable mode for the photo environment is chosen-for example, “Presentation Mode” for the office or “Theatre” mode for the living room. One can also easily change the screen size from 4:3 format for business use to 16:9 for a wide format screen to create a real cinema impression.
The EMP-X3 also provides clear and natural images even in the lightest room with the help of the innovative Epson E-TORL technology that provides high light-output combined with excellent energy efficiency.
