Norwegian-born expert hotelier Arild Sjoedin joined Emirates Palace as its new Hotel Manager, following a two and a half year stretch as General Manager of Kempinski Hotel Bel Air in Binz, Germany.
Having spent close to twenty years in the hospitality industry ten of which as General Manager, Sjoedin brings to his position a wealth of experience in managing prestigious hotel brands in Europe. “He therefore brings an in-depth understanding and hands-on knowledge of hotel management, having successfully handled executive positions in top hotels in Europe,” said Noel Massoud, General Manager, Emirates Palace. “With Sjoedin part of Emirates Palace’s executive team, I am very confident we will be able to achieve even greater heights.”
In addition to his extensive experience in managing hotel operations, Sjoedin also sits in the Board of a number of prestigious travel and hospitality-related organization. Sjoedin is also part owner of a Norwegian Consultancy firm which he helped set up back in 1989.

Sjoedin has completed an academic program in hospitality management at the Norwegian College of Hotel Management. Married with two children, Sjoedin is fluent in Danish, English, Swedish, German and his native Norwegian.
