Emirates Bank, who celebrates their 30th year anniversary this year and is a main sponsor of Global Village and a co-sponsor of Dubai Shopping Festival, delighted customers with its recent promotion which offered the public an opportunity to win a fantastic ‘Around the World’ trip for two, that included traveling business class and luxury hotel accommodation.
The Grand Prize ‘Around the World’ Draw was held live on stage at the Global Village in the presence of Mr. Louis Scotto, Emirates Bank General Manager- Retail Banking, who was quoted saying, “The Around the World promotion was very well received by the public, according to reports from the radio stations. We, at Emirates Bank enjoy undertaking interactive promotions which directly involve the public. We hope that listeners now have a better knowledge of the voices and dialects of people from all corners of the world. The winner, Mrs. Farrah Koudsi is set for a very pleasant trip and we wish her the best of luck.”
The grand draw prize winner Mrs. Farrah Koudsi, who was one of 18 weekly finalists competing for the prize expressed her delight and said, “Being an Emirates Bank customer, I am very grateful to Emirates Bank for this wonderful prize. It will definitely be a trip to remember. I encourage everybody to try their luck at similar competitions, as it may be them winning, next time.”
This once in a lifetime offer, was available to everyone throughout the Dubai Shopping Festival simply by tuning into the breakfast shows on Dubai 92; Al Arabia and City FM, where listeners had to ‘guess the city of origin’ of a voice sample. and simply text their answers.
One of the qualifying listeners was then randomly called live on-air and had the chance to win a weekly prize of 80,000 Air Miles or the equivalent of a pair of tickets to a European destination. All the weekly winners were then automatically entered into the Grand Prize Draw with a chance to become the winner of an ‘Around the World’ trip for two that includes traveling business class and luxury hotel accommodation.
