An elderly French tourist was found dead in Jordan's premier tourist attraction, the ruined city of Petra, about 280 kilometers south of Amman, security sources said Wednesday.
“It took too long to search for the tourist before he was found dead, after he had fallen from high cliff in the area,” the sources told the official news agency, Petra.
The tourist, 75, left his tour group without saying he was going to climb the steep and dangerous cliffs, they said – Albawaba.com
