Eight killed in Yemen tribal clashes

Eight Yemenis were killed on Sunday during a shootout between armed tribes, over an ongoing territory dispute in Amran province, located some 100 kilometers north of the capital Sana'a.‏  

 

A security source in the province, cited by KUNA news agency, said that the clashes between the tribes led to the death of eight Yemenis.‏  

 

The source added that clashes were over ownership of a plot of agricultural ‏land in Amran province. Security forces were sent to the area to arrest armed men and settle the dispute. (Albawaba.com)
