Eight Yemenis were killed on Sunday during a shootout between armed tribes, over an ongoing territory dispute in Amran province, located some 100 kilometers north of the capital Sana'a.
A security source in the province, cited by KUNA news agency, said that the clashes between the tribes led to the death of eight Yemenis.
The source added that clashes were over ownership of a plot of agricultural land in Amran province. Security forces were sent to the area to arrest armed men and settle the dispute. (Albawaba.com)
