A woman from the Egyptian district of Al Sharkiyyah gave birth to six twins in a normal hosiptal delivery, without the need for surgical intervention, according to the daily Al Gomhuria.
The mother and her babies are enjoying good health after the delivery, said the paper.
The mother married four years ago but did not get pregnant, which spurred her to seek treatment at a specialty hospital in the Egyptian city of Al Zaqazeek.
There, she was given fertility drugs for four months, after which her dreams of pregnancy became reality.
Doctors confirmed that the newly born babies' weights were normal, except for one baby girl and one baby boy who were put into incubators to ensure their survival - Albawaba.com
