An Egyptian diplomat died on Monday while on a plane en route to his homeland.
The Arabic daily Al Messa reported that Gad Mustapha Ali died on his way back from New York, where he was receiving treatment.
The airport’s quarantine authorities received a report from the captain of the plane that a passenger had died. Initial tests indicated that the diplomat died of severe low blood pressure.
