Egypt takes on new strategy to attract health tourism

The Egyptian government has adopted a new strategy to attract health tourism through an integrated plan with the participation of specialized bodies, namely the ministries of tourism, health and aviation, in addition to tourism agencies.

Health tourism in the North African country of Egypt is considered a key source of national income due to Egypt's various natural investments, especially sulfur water wells with an estimated 1350 wells all over the country.

Prime Minister Dr. Ahmad Nazif has decided to set up a specialized unit for health tourism which would open new horizons in this field.
