Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak has issued a decree ordering the establishment of an industrial zone to the south of the town of Balteem, reported Al Ahram Arabic daily.
An official told the paper that EP500 million ($128,7m) have already been invested in the area in projects like cooking gas filling, food canning and wood industries – Albawaba.com
