Egypt's Minister of Irrigation and Water Resources Dr. Mahmoud Abu Zeid dismissed press reports, claiming that Egypt would provide Israel with Nile water via Sinai.
In a statement, published by the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Anba'a on Sunday, the minister said that Nile water is not owned by Egypt and is governed by international agreements. Egypt is in dire need of each drop of water, he added. (albawaba.com)
