Prison authorities in Egypt are on alert after guards in Qata prison found poisoned forks and knives with inmates. A probe into the case was launched immediately, reported Al Gomhoryya Arabic daily on Sunday.
Senior officers, guards and prison officials are being interrogated on how the lethal utensils reached the hands of the convicts.
