Cairo will host the Middle East Education, Training and Development Exhibition and Conference during the period 16-19 April 2002.
The event, which is organized by the Trade Links International (TLI), presents an opportunity for more than 200 exhibitors from around the world, according to a press release.
“The Exhibition is expected to attract over 10,000 visitors, including education professionals, HR professionals, parents, students, policy makers, researchers, training specialists from both the corporate and government sectors,” said Maha Surani, the TLI’s director of exhibitions.
Hassan El Rashid, the managing director of TLI, said in the statement that Egypt was chosen as the host-country for this vital event due to a number of key factors. “Egypt has the third largest, and one of the strongest economies in the Middle East and North Africa, resulting in an outstanding potential for future economic development and diversification.” Said El Rashid. “Add to that Egypt's demographical structure with a large and fast- growing population seeking every type of education and training. This is reflected in the large number of students who pursue their higher-education overseas,” added the managing director.
“Furthermore, the Egyptian government's current five-year plan which allocated a combined budget of over $12.5 billion to education, research, development, and training, is another factor which will guarantee the success of Edxpo2002,” concluded El Rashid – Albawaba.com
