An earthquake measuring 4.4 degrees on the Richter scale jolted the city of Bandar Abbas in the southern Iranian province of Hormuzgan early on Sunday.According to IRIB, the seismological base of the geophysics institute, affiliated to Tehran University, said the tremor epicentered in an area north of the city. There were no reports of casualties or damage.
