e-TQM College, the premier Dubai-based college specializing in Total Quality Management, will be launching, its state-of-the-art Admission and Registration Application. The web-based application was developed exclusively for e-TQM College by Emirates Computers, a leading UAE-based IT solutions company.
An agreement, which is the first of its kind for the college, has been signed between the e-TQM College and Emirates Computers on the today, (Tuesday, 13 September, 2005), allowing the IT solutions company to market, sell and implement the software in the GCC and the Arab world to meet the growing demand for academic applications amongst the region's educational community.
Accessible via the e-TQM College's official website, the newly-developed application will allow prospective students to browse through program and course catalogs, apply online by filling the web-base admission application, track the status of their applications, issue payment for registration fees, through the secure payment gate way or make an inquiry at just a click of a mouse.
The application will significantly benefit current students, as it will enable them to enroll for courses at the beginning of each semester, issue course fees, check grades as well as program-related information, fill course and program evaluation forms.
In addition, the application will allow the faculty members to obtain up-to-the-minute class rosters, view students records to assist them in academic advising, submit grades and attendance list, and check course information completely online. Staff members across the college will be able to manage larger numbers of records in a more effective manner, thus avoiding duplication of work by different departments.
