Dubai Press Club to Highlight 30 Years of Unity

To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the UAE Union, the Dubai Press Club (DPC) is hosting two-day roundtable discussion Nov 25-26. 

The seminar, which is held under the banner of UAE - 30 Years of the Union, will focus on evaluating the progress and achievements of the union during the last thirty years since its formation, said a press release by the DPC. 

The two-day roundtable discussion aims at offering a platform for experts from different fields to come together and analyze the progress made by the union in the last thirty years, said the official statement. 

At the same time, the seminar will try to highlight areas that need to be given more attention in future planning, it added. 

Prominent dignitaries and analysts will participate in the roundtable discussion. 

The purpose of the seminar, according to the statement, is to build on successes and to share perceptions in order to shape the future of the UAE in the best possible way. 

In addition, a late night meeting will be organized by the club on Nov. 27. 

A number of the important personalities and key figures from Dubai will participate in the event, said the Khaleej Times. 

Scheduled every Tuesday during the month of Ramadan, the floor-seating meetings with the head of the departments of Dubai will have the ambience of traditional Ramadan nights. The meetings will be open to DPC members – Albawaba.com
