ALBAWABA - Local media in the UAE reported that a drone fell on a building in Dubai's Creek Harbour at around 2:45 a.m. Thursday, Dubai Media Office (DMO) said in a statement.

Emirati authorities revealed that the building was evacuated to ensure the safety of residents.

According to the Dubai Media Office, authorities received a report of a minor fire caused by a drone, believed to be of Iranian origin.

It further mentioned that first responders were able to control the fire in the building in Dubai's Creek Harbour. The building in the photo shared by the office is Address Creek Harbour (Tower 2) in Dubai's Creek Harbour area, which is a luxury residential tower with hotel facilities.

UAE is among the Gulf States targeted by Iranian forces in retaliatory attacks on American assets following the U.S.-Israel's preemptive attacks on Tehran.

On the other hand, yesterday, two drones fell near Dubai International Airport (DXB), leaving four people injured.
