ALBAWABA - At least 13 people, including eight children, were killed in a drone attack that was carried out by the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) in the city of El-Obeid in North Kordofan.

Sudan Doctors Network reported in a statement, "In a new massacre in El Obeid, 13 people, including nine members of the same family, most of them children, were killed when the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) targeted a home in the Al-Jallabiya neighborhood of El-Obeid, North Kordofan State."

It continued, "The Network considers this attack a crime that reflects a dangerous escalation of the policy of indiscriminate killing and systematic bombing of safe residential areas, with no regard for human life."

"The Network holds the RSF fully responsible for this crime and calls on the international community, human rights organizations, and the United Nations to take action to stop these crimes by pressuring the RSF leadership to cease the killing of civilians and the targeting of residential areas."
