Dominica has agreed to establish diplomatic ties with Libya, Dominican Prime Minister Pierre Charles was quoted by the Caribbean News Agency (CANA) as saying Sunday.
CANA said that Charles's remarks came during his visit to Tripoli.
The agency said that there was some concern that the prime minister did not inform the government of his decision before he left for Libya.
"I had already decided that I wasn't going to make any statement at all before leaving, and that I was going to make a statement on my return," Charles told CANA -- Albawaba.com
