Direct Tehran-Muscat flights will be launched on Wednesday, said a managing director of Oman Air, Abdullah Al Miskari, on Saturday.
“The launching of this direct flight will not only boost the tourism industry of both Iran and Oman, but will also be a step towards better economic and political relations of the two neighboring countries,” he said, quoted by the official Iranian news agency (IRNA).
A B4-300 Airbus of Iran’s Mahan Air is scheduled to take the passengers to Muscat every Wednesday and fly back to Tehran on the same day, he said.
Iran Air used to have a direct flight to Muscat, but the flight was cancelled a couple of years ago - Albawaba.com
