Diplomatic and military developments may delay a visit by Israel’s Prime Minister-elect Ariel Sharon to Washington later this month for talks with US President George W. Bush, reported Haaretz newspaper, quoting Israel Radio Wednesday.
The radio quoted aides to Sharon as saying that he had yet to decide on whether to delay the trip, planned to begin in another 10 days, or to travel as scheduled.
Apart from the White House talks, Sharon was also slated to attend the annual convention of AIPAC, the pro-Israel lobbying group, said the paper – Albawaba.com
