The directorate-general of education in Dhofar Governorate has completed its preparations for the academic year 2003-2004. According to ONA, the governorates 153 schools will absorb 49,574 male and female pupils this year. 3,355 male and female teachers are employed in these schools.
The above was stated by Yousuf bin Ali al Hosni, director-general of education in Dhofar governorate, who added that the maintenance works of schools and teachers' accommodations were completed.
