DHL, the world’s leading express and logistics company, today launched a campaign to communicate the benefits of its premium door-to-door Express services to remind customers how easy exporting can be using DHL.

With DHL’s Express services customers can, with one phone call, export goods from the Middle East to anywhere in the world and pay for the shipment with one invoice and in one currency and take advantage of complete shipping visibility. Shipments stay within the DHL system from origin to destination allowing for easy tracking, utilising time and day definite choices.

“Our goal is to increase awareness among exporters of our wide service offering, synergies and economies of scale,” said Phil Couchman, DHL’s Regional Director for the Middle East. “Most importantly, we want to show how we can integrate our capabilities and resources to create seamless solutions to the express and logistics needs of every business.”

DHL’s Express services portfolio offers a guaranteed express service for people looking to initiate business ties with either customers or suppliers from the Middle East in the easiest possible manner. The broad range of services is designed to facilitate trade and assist customers in accessing the global marketplace of today. With a substantial network and reach across the world, DHL‘s aim is to make global exporting more convenient and time efficient than ever before.

While mindful of the adverse impact of higher fuel prices, Middle Eastern exporters are increasingly depending on supply chain operations. The services are available to all customers from the largest multinational to the local trader.
“With the service offering to the medium sized shipper now more flexible, efficient and cost effective, our job at DHL is to make sure we are communicating with our customers to ensure they understand what is available. Our regional campaign will be held over the next two months and is designed to create additional awareness for that key market segment,” explained Couchman.

DHL is supporting the message with a 360-degree marketing campaign involving print, radio and online advertising amongst others.

Couchman added: “Under the theme, ‘We manage your exports, so you can manage you business’, we look forward to exploring future growth opportunities, and to have our successful business model exported throughout the Middle East.”

DHL also now offers new levels of connectivity between US and UAE as well as Europe and Iran. In addition, more aircraft are serving the Asia Pacific Market – DHL has invested $400 million in a joint venture with Cathay Pacific and Air Hong Kong.

With a fleet of 76,000 vehicles across 220 countries and territories and with over 285,000 employees worldwide, the new campaign is set to be a vital ingredient in the success of businesses across the region.

“This campaign from DHL represents the company’s spirit of can do and experience of know how demonstrated by our employees who are always willing to go the extra mile for customers,” said Couchman.
