ALBAWABA - In the wake of a powerful earthquake that struck western Nepal, the death toll has climbed to 128 as ongoing rescue operations strive to save lives.

The Nepal Police spokesperson, Kuber Kadayat, reported that 140 people have been injured in this tragic event.

KATHMANDU - On November 4, a somber mood has settled over Nepal as the country grapples with the aftermath of a substantial earthquake, originating from western Nepal.

The earthquake, which registered a magnitude of 6.4 and struck the Jajarkot and Rukum West regions on Friday night at 23:47 local time, has claimed the lives of 128 individuals and left 140 others with injuries.

This disaster has triggered a massive response effort, with rescue operations underway as authorities and local communities work together to cope with the aftermath of this devastating natural event.
